Introduction

  • To all those who dive Thailand, individual Shipwreck accounts concerning Thai wreck diving with detailed up-to-date dive site reviews from experienced local Thai and Western divers, technical dive planning software, Important dive site safety information and Historical research data concerning the events that caused the vessel's loss, will open up a wealth of information plus identify how to dive dozens of Thailand's more obscure and interesting wreck diving sites.

  • Most of the Wrecks listed in the Thailand wreck diving pages may be dived by contacting the dive operators listed in the shipwrecks review,  who can arrange basic wreck diving (Air or Nitrox non-decompression diving) or technical wreck diving (full deco mixed gas Nitrox or Trimix diving) at any of the sites featured. Most are located within a days sailing time of the main Thailand holiday destinations of Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Pattaya and Koh Chang. If you can't find anyone to dive a specific wreck contact thaiwreckdiver.com.

  • A special feature is a section on essential tech diving software and dive theory necessary to dive some of the more challenging sites. Access to this and other features is via the main site menu at the top of this page.

  • Thaiwreckdiver.com actively contacts veterans groups, government agencies and other personnel involved in categorizing online shipwreck information database resources with the latest information concerning shipwrecks discovered in Thai waters.

  • All information revealed during research activities is handled sensitively, especially regarding the discovery of vessels that sank with crewman on board, or vessels otherwise classified as war graves.

www.thaiwreckdiver.com is a non-commercial web site promoting all wreck diving activities in Thailand and South East Asia.

Deep ship wreck diving research, especially that which involves Helium based Trimix diving is a very expensive activity costing approx US$1.00 per breath at 100meters and offshore charter boat fees of around US$1,000 per day minimum.
